Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ABC Homes LLC ("Albusto", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with the Albusto platform and the albusto.com websites.
1. Information we collect
Account information — name, business name, email address, phone number and login credentials of the people who use Albusto.
Billing information — plan, invoices and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive only limited payment metadata (such as card brand and last four digits), never your full card number.
Customer Data you store in the Service — records about your own customers: contact details, job history, notes, messages, call recordings and transcripts, estimates, invoices and payments. This data belongs to you; we process it on your behalf to provide the Service.
Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type and actions taken in the app, used for security and to improve the product.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and support the Service, including routing calls and messages you send and receive.
- To process subscription payments and prevent fraud.
- To improve the product — including generating call summaries and message triage with AI models. AI features process only the content needed to produce the result and are not used to train third-party foundation models on your data.
- To communicate with you about the Service (support, security and billing notices).
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Albusto — such as cloud hosting, telephony carriers (for calls and SMS), Stripe (payments), Google (if you connect a Google mailbox — see section 5) and the AI providers named in section 5 — under contracts that limit their use of the data, or when required by law.
4. Call recording and messaging
Albusto customers may record calls and exchange SMS with their own clients. The business using Albusto is responsible for obtaining any consents required by law. If you believe a business using Albusto has recorded or messaged you improperly, contact us at support@albusto.com and we will assist.
5. Google user data (Gmail integration)
If you connect a Google mailbox, Albusto reaches it through Google’s official APIs using only the permissions you grant on Google’s consent screen. Because this is your customers’ correspondence, we describe that access separately here.
What we access. Message content and headers, attachments, thread metadata, and the email address and basic profile of the connected account. We ask for read access in order to sync your mail into Albusto, and send access in order to send estimates, invoices and replies from your own address.
How we use it. Only to provide features you can see in the product: placing each conversation on the customer’s timeline, sending mail from your address, and sorting incoming mail so that messages needing a person become tasks for your dispatcher. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to anyone except the providers named below.
Automated processing. The sorting is done by a language model. We may use a model operated by Google (Gemini), Anthropic or OpenAI, or a model we run ourselves on our own servers. Only the text needed to classify one message is sent, the result is a category and a priority rather than a copy of your mail, and your content is not used to train any provider’s models.
Human access. No one at Albusto reads the contents of your email in the ordinary course of running the Service. The processing described above is automated, and our staff work with logs and metadata rather than message bodies. The only exceptions are the narrow ones the Limited Use requirements themselves permit: with your explicit consent, where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or on aggregated and anonymized data for internal operations.
Storage and deletion. Synced mail is stored encrypted in the United States. You can disconnect the mailbox at any time — this immediately erases the credentials we hold and stops all syncing. Mail already synced stays in your account so that your customer history remains intact, and is deleted or anonymized within 90 days of your account being closed, as described in section 6.
Limited Use. Albusto’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Data retention and security
We keep account and Customer Data while your account is active. After account closure we delete or anonymize Customer Data within 90 days, except where a longer period is required by law (for example, financial records). Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-based and logged, and production systems are hosted in secured data centers in the United States.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your personal information by contacting us at support@albusto.com. If you are a customer of a business that uses Albusto, we will refer your request to that business, which controls your data, and assist them in fulfilling it. Where applicable state privacy laws grant additional rights (such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising), we honor them — note that we do not engage in targeted advertising or data sales.
8. Cookies
The albusto.com website uses only essential cookies needed for sign-in and security. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify account owners by email and update the date above.
